Tibetan Prayer flags are very important in Tibetan rituals which represents peace, Harmony and also gives blesssing for a long and happy life. They are especially used by Buddhist at their homes and offices. They use it for various purposes such as Decorating houses, offfices and especially on the events too. In buddhist tradition, Nearly each house of Buddhist has mostly prayer flags because colors also gives joy and peace to human mind and gives positive feelings which helps to create better health as feelings are main aspect of health. Each leaf of flags has mantras and 5 different Figure. It is believed that there are 108 or 1008 Mantras (OM MANE PADHME HUM), depending on Size of flags and letter Size of mantras.

Different Flags have Different images with different meanings.They are believed to protect from the Sky, Air, Water,Fire and Earth element's disasters like clear and sunny weather, storm, flood and hurricans, fire and dry strong sun, landslide, volcanos, earthquakes etc according to the colors.Blue color represents Akshobhya which overcomes the coming ignorance and is the symbol of Space, it has the picture of Dragon, Tiger, Snowlion, Garuda, Medicine Buddha and Wind Horse whose in improving health and longevity. White color represents Ratna Sambhava which overcomes Pride and Miserliness and is the symbol of Water, it has the picture of Windhorse whose mantra is for purification of Karma. Red color represents Amitabha which overcomes the Delusion of attachment and symbolizes Fire, it has the picture of Padmasambha whose mantra is for fulfilling wish. Green color represents Amoghasiddhi which overcomes jealous and symbolizes Air, it has picture of Green Tara which protect from harm. Yellow Color represents Variochana which helps in overcoming Anger and Aversion and symbolizes Earth, it has the picture of Vajrasattva which helps in Overcoming obstacles.
